SUMMARRRYYY
What's up yo! another blog as usual. However, this blog might be short (i think). Anyways! Full school week for this week; but nothing really important happened other than working for Recognition Night and Parent Orientation. For each period, the classwork was just the same process; finish it early so you don't have to worry about more piling work coming towards you. So, I'm mainly going to talk about Recognition Night and Parent Orientation. I'm upset that it's our last Recognition Night that leadership is working, so of course this is going to be apart of my lowlights. Anyways, the event went smooth as usual with luckily no problems. Now about Parent Orientation. Parent Orientation went smoothly. However, I have to admit, it was a bit boring but easy enough to work. Some of the families were annoying, especially those who gave Leadership attitude. Other than that, Parent Orientation was just another normal working day for Leadership. Oh yeah--the same day Parent Orientation was held was the same day where I cried over Ariya's little sister lol.

🌟— getting a 25/25 for Mr. Cole's project.
I have to admit; I'm hella surprised how I got full credit considering how late I turned mine in. But, I'm not complaining about my grade I got for the project! Anyways, I'm surpringly proud of my project, I really didn't know what the theme I was going for, but I managed to enter flowstate when beginning my project.
🌟— hanging out with the leadership peeps afterschool more
It's obvious I hang out a lot with the leadership peeps; but barely afterschool. So luckily this week, I'm happy I got to hang out with my 7th grader and of course many more of the leadership peeps. It was also nice going to 7/11 with Ethan, Markwil, and Myra lol, since Myra and I already bought McDonalds 30 minutes earlier.

🌨—working the last recognition night for my leadership year
Despite being a GT and not having to work as much events as the regular 7th and 8th graders do, I'm still sad that this is the last recognition night we work; especially considering I'm not coming back next year and will most definetly miss the ones that are coming back next year, ESPECIALLY the 8th graders.
🌨—only 3-5 more weeks of the school year left
Even though i'm coming back to Ilima as an 8th grader, I'm genuinely going to miss leadership; especially with all the memories I have with each of every single one of the leadership peeps. Despite this, I really hope the returning leadership peeps are in every single one of my periods next year.

My main lesson for this week is it's better late than never. Using Mr. Cole's project as an example; despite turning the project in 5 days late, I still managed to get full credit. Especially for ELA, where I turned in my chapter notes super late; but still managed to get full credit. Despite turning in my work super late for at least each of my classes, I learned getting a grade over than 0 is better than dealing with a missing and F assignment.
