WB 3-1

 SUMMARYY

This week wasn't really as special—other than having 3 school days rather than a whole week of school 🥹. I didn't really do anything during Monday and Tuesday, other than sleeping but also going to the mall too. Other than this week not really being special—Winter Break, Christmas, and New Years Eve has much more to talk about. During Winter Break, my family and I went through a lot of shopping. Within a week or two, we've been at Ala Moana for at least 5-7 times for Christmas gifts🫩. Other than that, I came to the conclusion that Christmas isn't that fun anymore, and sometimes it doesn't feel the same. However, I mostly got a lot of things I liked for Christmas—such as clothes, new headphones, and more Lego plants. Next—New Years Eve. I stayed over at Pearl City to hang out with a couple of my old friends and also watch the fireworks. Soon after, my family and I came back to Ewa before 12:00. I also ate 12 green grapes  under the table 🥹🫰.

HIGHTLIGHTSS

⭐-Three days of schooll
I was honestly relieved that we had 3 days of school and not the whole week; considering my sleep schedule is now HORRIBLE🌚..Other than that, I honestly enjoyed taking my daily naps regardless during break or even during school days. I really also enjoyed the 3 days of school considering I lowkey don't like my odd periods, but rather enjoy my even periods. I lowkey don't like my odd periods mainly because I have Social Studies and Math. Okay but first of all, I literally love Ms. Chen with all my heart but I just don't like math in general, and it goes the same for Social Studies. (lol, i also plan on getting mr. cole a flag with his face on it🥹)

⭐️-GETTING TACO BELL & PHO MONEYY
I'm genuinely so happy I got money during both Christmas and New Years Eve, and since it's almost Lyla's birthday this month; I'm taking her out to get pho next Tuesday heh. And since I have enough money, we might also go to Boba Cafe but it depends on the time we finish eating pho. Other than spending money on food like always, I also plan on getting new clothes from the shop, Brandy Melville. The clothes there are super cute. I even bought a sweat jacket, (2?) sweatpants, and even an navy blue long sleeve shirt.

LOWLIGHTSS

(luckily, i didnt rlly have any lowlights this week)

🌒-Having 2 days of odd periods and only 1 day of even periods
Just like I said in my summary paragraph, I really prefer my even periods rather than my odd periods, mainly because of each core classes I have. I also prefer my even periods because my new elective (Art) is actually really fun! My period 2 (ELA) and period 6 (Science) is surprisingly my favorite classes to have. Now to my odds, my period 5 (Social Studies) is just boring to the point it's not really engaging. On the other hand, my period 1 (Math) is fine, the teacher is super chill but I just genuinely don't like math at all.

🌒-Work being assigned, especially on the first day back after Winter Break
Already on Wednesday, Mr. Cole already assigned us a test literally when the period was on the brink of ending; which honestly made me more stressed. However, I'm still glad I passed with a 10/10. Other than that, Ms. Chen assigned us a Savvas lesson about scale drawing, which some of the questions were easy but some were super complicated to the point I stared at the problem for 15 minutes straight. Now on Tuesday; the work being assigned for Science and ELA is super stressing; knowing PBL is mostly going to be our main focus for this quarter. Lastly, on Wednesday, Mr. Cole assigned us a ONE PAGER..and Ms. Chen assigned us 2 pages of math (which is honestly not bad tbh, the concept is easy to understand).

LESSONS LEARNEDEDD

During Winter Break, I learned to appreciate the simple moments. Although Christmas didn't feel fun at all; spending time with my family, relaxing at home, and enjoying quiet days helped me feel grateful for what I had. I also appreciate all the times I had with my friends. Although we were mostly calling and texting, it was relaxing and almost felt like home having chaotic moments with them. Especially in leadership, I'm glad I feel comfortable enough to call it home.
