SUMMAHRY

Whats up brochachos, this blog will be a bit short since I'm kind of lazy and tired right neeeoow, and it won't have the same format as my usual blogs. ANYWAYS! On Monday, I rarely did anything other than mainly working on Mr. Coles timeline project. For my project, I'm doing a kind of comic book kind of thing? Well, I really don't know how to describe it since it's kind of complex. On Tuesday, my favorite periods, I skipped half of 2nd period with Myra since both of us didn't finish our chapter one character chart for The Outsiders. The book is pretty good, and I'm kind of sad we're already halfway. Honestly, I should've skipped 6th period on Tuesday, but it was Science; so knowing that the PBL project exists and Mrs. Arakawa assigns a ton of work, I decided not to skip. Plus, I knew it was for the best. On Wednesday, it was just like Monday, where I rarely did anything but panic from not doing my math homework lol. Eventually, I got it done. I also worked on Mr. Cole's project the entire time during 5th period, so it was just the same cycle. On Thursday, I mostly worked on my eye artwork for Ms. Coury. Doing the project or assignment was fun, but I barely got the hang of it since I had to skip that day due to Orientation. Fortunately on Friday, school was cancelled. Luckily, I turned in my Class Day field trip form on Thursday, so I didn't have to worry about not turning it in on time.

HIGHHLAATTS

One of my highlights for this week was school being cancelled on Friday. For me, it was a huge relief; considering that I still had a ton of work to do, especially Mrs. Arakawa's PBL evidence sheet being due on Sunday and Mr. Cole's project that was supposed to be due on Friday. Another highlight for this week was barely doing any work for Math and ELA since we were just reviewing concepts for the upcoming SBA next week. It was honestly nice to be reviewing the concepts and not having homework being assigned; since it would add more to the stress I have for the upcoming SBA and Mr. Cole's project. Also, another one of my highlights I have for this week was honestly getting cool pictures of myself from Brent. So, thanks Brent Soriantoe! Good thing the pictures were honestly SUPER good quality, so editing the photos to post them on Instagram would make it look even better.

LOWLAIGHTS

Since this week went pretty smoothly, there was honestly barely any lowlights but just mainly two. One main lowlight I have for this week is turning in almost due work. Especially Mrs. Arakawa's stupid PBL project and evidence, my group mates BARELY do anything, so now I'm scared for my life since specifically one of them hasn't been doing a SINGLE assignment for the evidence sheet. And Mr. Cole's timeline project. Honestly, I'm glad I have an idea of what I'm going to do, so that relieves my stress a bit. My second lowlight for this week is just basically having the same cycle for every odd period day. Work is the same, and just the day doesn't feel any different; just the same draining day over and over. Oh yeah another lowlight I have is magic notes coming up after the week of SBA. But honestly, I miss magic notes!

LESSONSS LEARRNEDD

My main lesson for this week is to prioritize my well-being. For example, I find rest as an requirement; knowing that exhaustion is a sign to slow down, not a reason to feel guilty. Rest is necessary fuel for productivity, not a reward to be earned. Especially learning to prioritize my mental health; taking attention to whenever I feel overwhelmed so I can takes small breaks and be kind to myself. I also found progress can be better than perfection. Even when I started Mr. Cole's project; even though I started uncertain, I was glad I got some information down. Moreover, even through failure; I reframe them and use them as a way to improve and learn.
