🌟—The Spirit Week Energy
I absolutely loved the vibe during spirit week, especially the relay races and the cheer-off. Even though it was a lot of work for Leadership, seeing the competitive spirit mixed with genuine support between teams—and laughing until my sides hurt during the races—was the best part of the quarter.
🌟—Yearbook Completion
I am so relieved that we finally finished the yearbook. It feels amazing to know I don’t have to skip any more classes, stress over tagging students, or hunt people down via email anymore; we can finally just breathe and enjoy the finished product.

🌧—The Academic Grind
I felt a massive amount of anxiety and stress trying to finish my grant proposal for Science, Math, and ELA. It was incredibly frustrating to have to push myself to get everything done before the deadline when my teammates weren't contributing their fair share of the work.
🌧—Yearbook Timeline
Despite having completed the yearbook, the time we took to finish it and the effort put into it was not as great as I hoped. We had a lot of photos needing to be reedited, re-taken, or tagged, and we also had a lot of issues with single-photos that had to be replaced.
LESSONNNSS LEARRNNEDDD
One main lesson I learned this week was my limits to physical exhaustion. I learned the limits of my physical stamina and the importance of pacing myself during high-intensity seasons. I realized that while I am willing to tire myself out for a good cause, I need to find better ways to recover so that I don't feel completely drained by my commitments.
Perception Vs Reality
Perception
Going through this quarter, I really did have some expectations and goals. Which some of them were to work hard for yearbook, get another 4.0 GPA or at least a 3.83 GPA, work diligently for every event, and even more. I also expected this quarter to move and go like a breeze, since the year is kinda going fast too.
Reality
The reality of this quarter followed my reality in expectations, but also had it's differences too. Of course the quarter went like a breeze, but work was piling and piling up. More essays, CSA's, and basically more summatives for each class. I also like to add how the reality of this quarter was STRESSFUL. Grant proposals for Ms. Miya's class were due, and my team wouldn't lock in. I have to admit, some of my teammates are just plain STUPID but sometimes it's just time to face it and suck it up.
