WB 3-7
SUMMMARRRAYYY
This week was a bit different than normal weeks; where this entire week I experienced a lot of stress and moments where I felt completely drained. Luckily, it was a four-day school week; so to save me some time to finish this blog, I'm only going to write about Tuesday-Friday. On Tuesday; it was an evens day. Unfortunately for Science, there was a CSA 😔🤕. However, I'm surprised how the CSA was lowkey easy; just time consuming. For ELA, all I did was catch up and work on my grant proposal about Kalauha'iha'i. Lastly, for Art; my class just basically finished or at least tried to finish our final mannequin drawing. On Wednesday, an odds day, there was lowkey a lot going on 🫩. In Social Studies, my class and I watched the last part of the Hawaiian plantation movie before trying to finish our project; which the project is due on the 24th. Next is Period 3. For the entire period, we had to set up the curtains for dance, which went pretty smooth to be honest. Since I decided to work on yearbook, I skipped 1st period; Math. Although the math homework seemed hard to understand in first glance, I eventually got the hang of the lesson and started understanding it slowly and slowly. For Thursday, an evens day, nothing much happened to be honest; especially for all my periods, it was just the same work that needed to be finished. Lastly, on Friday; another odds day. Luckily for Social Studies, I spent the entire period finishing my project. For Math, I stayed in for Recess to copy down hand-written notes I missed and tried to finish my homework I also missed. Last but not least, Period 3; which was the very last period of the day. For period 3, we had to help set up all 500 chairs for the elementary dance competition; which was tiring. Luckily; a few members from the dance team came in to help. Right after school, Roxanne and I decided to go to Taco Bell to refuel our energy for the upcoming elementary dance competition.

🌟-holomua placing 2nd place for the elementary dance competition
i'm genuinely so happy Holomua got 2nd place!!🥹. I was also super shocked that Holomua even placed above 3rd place. No shade to my old school;...but i genuinely thought Holomua wouldn't even place above 4th place 🫩ðŸ˜. But to my surprise, they got their achievement of 2nd place; and I'm super proud of them for their dedication to go full on out for their dance ☺️.
🌟-skipping period 1 to work on yearbook
okay, no shade to ms. chen; but i'm so glad i skipped 1st period to work on yearbook. despite having to do hand-written notes and catch up on some complicated work; i'm glad i was able to get a break from math, since math is lowkey my least favorite subject. however, that's probably going to be my first and last time skipping 1st period...👀👀👀👀👀.

🌧️-feeling more drained than usual
i dont really know, most of my weeks are the same; where i usually always feel tired and inactive after a week of school. but this week was different; i just feel super drained to the point i really don't want to do my work, and rather skip more than half of the day on my phone or sleeping.
🌧️-having so much work due
not only having to feel more drained than usual, i also have to catch up on piles of work. although there's not much piles of work left to do, i just know it's going to get more and more piled up; especially knowing magic notes are coming up. not only that, i also have to present my half-done slides in mr. cole's class.
LESSON LEARNNEEDDD
One main lesson I learned is to finish what you started. For example, since I skipped period 1 this week, I of course had to deal with my consequences of catching up on work that I fell behind on. Another important example is on my yearbook text page for Spirit Week. From noticing I didn't finish my yearbook text for that specific page; I managed to swiftly and diligently finish the text---knowing that unfinished things can sometimes turn into unsolvable problems.
